Gallery Halmetoja will make its debut at Enter Art Fair, the largest contemporary art fair in the Nordic region, this August. The fair will take place in Copenhagen from August 28–31, 2025, with the Helsinki-based gallery participating in collaboration with Grane Art, a newly established Finnish art agency.
The gallery will present works by three of its long-time represented artists: Jasmin Anoschkin, Mikko Paakkonen, and Kim Somervuori. Anoschkin will showcase hand-built ceramic sculptures, while Paakkonen and Somervuori will present new paintings. Together, they represent the free, expressive approach that is characteristic of Gallery Halmetoja’s diverse program.
“It’s great to see new initiatives in the Finnish art scene that can support small galleries in their international ambitions,” says gallerist Veikko Halmetoja. “For our debut at Enter, we’re bringing artists who have been part of our journey from the very beginning. Our goal is to open new doors for them in Europe and beyond.”
Founded in 2019, Enter Art Fair has rapidly grown into the leading Nordic art fair, attracting galleries, collectors, and art professionals from around the world. This year’s edition will host 94 galleries from 19 countries, presenting the work of 350 artists in the historic Lokomotivværkstedet, a former locomotive workshop in Copenhagen. The fair is expected to welcome over 20,000 visitors.
In 2025, Gallery Halmetoja will be the only Finnish gallery represented at Enter Art Fair, coinciding with Copenhagen’s other major art event, Chart Art Fair.
